Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside the April Culture Carton Box

april culture carton box

Everything that we received in our April Culture Carton package. This box is the “Spring Refresh” and includes items that spruce up our wardrobe as well as our shower experience.

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert

The reverse details each of the items that we received as well as their retail values, which we really like.

Wise Stays Collar Stays

$7

This pair of collar stays are a wardrobe MUST HAVE. These are the difference between looking completely put together and… not. Before we had collar stays on our radar we always wondered how men got their collars so straight – collar stays are the answer!

Drifter Grooming El Dorado Whiskey Soap

$8

Sandalwood, Fir, Lemongrass and Bergamot create this earthy, crisp scented bar. To create the manliest bar possible Drifter Grooming swapped out the beer in the bar for El Dorado Whiskey to give these bars an astringent property that helps clean the skin.

We love both the scent and the industrial appearance of this bar! All of the Drifter products look pretty interesting though, particularly their general goods section.

Kiko Leather X Bifold Wallet

$55

Anytime we open up a Culture Carton box and see a product from Kiko we become irrationally excited. This bifold wallet is an example of how gorgeous their high quality leather products are. Made in the old style and simply stunning this wallet has 5 card slots and a compartment for your money as well.

Inside you’ll notice that this wallet has this cool threaded “X” which is simple but adds something extra special. Love this wallet!

Lord of the Flies by William Golding

$16

Written in 1954 this novel tells the story of boys who are shipwrecked on an island and their attempt at governing themselves. We’ve never read this book (although we have seen the movie) and are really excited to dive into this classic. This is the Deluxe Edition copy so it has a really neat cover and those cool tattered style pages.

We also received a Beau Brummell Bookmark. It had a coupon for the Beau Brummell line of products (they were included in the March Box).

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Culture Carton package is the perfect way to treat yourself or any of the men in your life with high quality products for cultured, worldly gentlemen. The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic. They always include high quality items that are made by brands that put love and attention into their products. And curation is awesome! We love this box and think everything came together perfectly!
