Silk Tie from Lord of Ties

Our first item in this box is this 100% silk tie from Lord of Ties. This is a classic style and keeps with those oh so important power colors. This makes a great, “refresh” to your wardrobe!
This feels so luxe in the hands and as you can see the back has the Lord of Ties logo.
Pocket Square from the Gentlemen Collective

Next is this beautiful pocket square from Gentlemen Collective. We are in love with this print and the outer stitching. This gives any outfit a bit of whimsy and calls attention to the wearer.
The colors are bright and beautiful but the pattern is soft and elegant.
And it has the Gentlemen Collective tag stitched on.
King Portland Socks

These subdued socks are soft and comfy but still maintain an air of tastefulness. We love the gray and will absolutely be keeping these for ourselves.
We think because these colors are so understated they could be worn with a wide variety of other colors.
The Sea by John Banville

The book for this month is, “The Sea” and has won the Man Booker prize as well as being a National Best Seller. A great addition to any library (men’s or women’s) this book covers hard topics like love, loss and your past.
The story takes place in Ireland and came out in 2005.
Missing: King Portland Lapel Pin

Unfortunately, this item was missing from our box. A bit of a bummer but we understand that things happen. And as soon as we made them aware of this issue they offered to send us a replacement!
So in summary
Presentation: The missing item was the only issue this month. Other than that everything arrived to us perfectly.
Quality: The items in the Culture Carton package are always high quality and from brands we might never have heard of otherwise.
Curation: We thought this was a nice little spring wardrobe update and the tie and pocket square were gorgeous.
Box Economy: The retail price of this box with the lapel pin is $116 and even without it this box was still worth $101 which is a phenomenal deal!
