Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in earthlove box

Our first glimpse inside the Earthlove Subscription Box

what's in the earthlove box

Everything that we received in our Earthlove Box! The theme for this fall is “A Gathering in the Woods” and includes not only gorgeous but also autumnal items as well!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. The front tells us about this season’s theme.

Inside each of the items included in our box is listed.

The back tells us about the curator and has some social sharing information.

There’s also this Earth wisdom card.

The reverse has 8 Eco challenges for the season.

Our final insert in this box is from One Tree Planted, the featured non-profit for the season. One Tree Planted focuses on reforesting areas of the world where it’s most critical; and for each box sold a tree will be planted. This card has lots of little tree facts on it.

Autumn Floral Smudgestick from Spirit Wild Farms

The first item in our box is this absolutely gorgeous smudge stick that uses; Goldenrod, Sage, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, Hyssop, Calendula, Wild Yarrow, Lavender, Wild Rose Petals as well as Palo Santo sticks to create a beautiful bouquet! Use this to clear negative energies from your home and sacred spaces.

Highland Fling Tea from Cottage Botanicals

$11.50

The next item in our box was actually one of the box spoilers we posted about in late summer. This blend is called the Highland Fling because it infuses Scotch Heather (something we’ve never tried), White Tea and Rose Petals (and if you guys read this blog enough you know how much we love Rose Tea)! We’re really excited to try this.

The back has an ingredients list and also includes steeping instructions. We’ve tried Cottage Botanicals Teas in the past and have really enjoyed them! Their products are all natural, organic and non-gmo.

Anise & Wild Crafted Mugwort Dark Chocolate Bar from Endorfin Foods

$6.50

Next is a craft chocolate bar from Endorfin Foods (whom we absolutely love). This particular dark chocolate bar is created using Anise, Fennel, Lemon Balm and sustainable harvested, wild crafted Mugwort. This is a big bar at 1.4 ounces so you can keep it in your desk or purse for a refreshing snack on the go!

Beeswax Wraps from Mind your Bees

$13.50 (approximately)

These Beeswax Food Wraps were made EXCLUSIVELY for Earthlove Box! We love the prints and think they are great for a fall themed box. We personally love having these and needed new ones, so we are extremely happy to receive these.

We like that the sizes are different as well! The Beeswax wraps are a great alternative to plastic wraps and sandwich bags. These wraps were only included in the Beegan Box – the Vegan Box included Floral Bath Salts from Lovewild Design.

Aromatherapy Bomb from Total Essential Wellness

$12

This aromatherapy bomb can also sub for a shower steamer. We love the way it was packaged as well as the way it smells, this will make for a super relaxing bath.

We can’t get over how gorgeous it is though, we almost don’t want to use it!

A Walk in the Woods Essential Oil Blend from Adirondack Aromatherapy

$6 (approximately)

This EXCLUSIVE essential oil blend was created by Gretchen of Adirondack Aromatherapy and mimics an autumnal walk through the woods on a crisp morning.

We received 2 cards that tell us how to diffuse this. Some of the oils in this blend are; American Wintergreen, Sage, Peppermint, Balsam Fir, Bergamot, Blood Orange, Sweet Geranium, Atlas Cedar, Eucalyptus, Frankincense and Rosemary. This scent is beautiful and very complex and the oil itself is powerful you’ll need just a drop or two!

Diffuser Pendant Necklace from Bella Terra Studios

$15

And of course to compliment our new essential oil blend we also received an essential oil diffuser necklace in this pretty ceramic pattern. All you have to do is add a drop of essential oil to the back of this and the ceramic will soak up the oil and allow you to diffuse your favorite scents all day long!

Kiss The Ground – How the Food you Eat Can Reverse Climate Change, Heal your Body & Ultimately Save the World

$20

We love getting new books to read and this one looks really interesting! This book explains how the food we eat that’s nourishing and wholesome is also creating a greener and more sustainable environment.

We think it’s a great idea that they are planning to include a book each season! The inside of this jacket tells us that this book will be a full length documentary produced by Leonardo DiCaprio too!

Strawberry Honeysuckle Solid Perfume from Live Beautifully Body

$5

This item wasn’t even listed on our insert! We love Live Beautifully Body products but hadn’t yet tried one of their solid perfumes!

This one has a bright fruit smell and comes in one of these little lip balm like containers! Super cute and a convenient item to store in your makeup bag or purse for a quick freshening up!

All Purpose Salve from Mellow Root Herbals

$12

The final item in this season’s box is this all purpose salve. Made with Sunflower Oil, Calendula, Plantain, Dandelion Leaf and Beeswax to keep your skin nourished and also help minor irritations as well as bug bits. We are really fond of this packaging and like the push-up design.

This product was only included in the Beegan Box, the Vegan Box included a Nourishing Lotion from Stream2Sea.

So in summary

Presentation: This box is excellently packaged and everything arrives perfectly.

Quality: Everything in this box is expertly made and we love that they really put a focus on things that are created sustainably and with our plant in mind.

Curation: This “Gathering in the Woods” Box is perfection! Each of the items included in this box is useful, fantastic and fits the theme. With think this is a great debut box from Earthlove and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Box Economy: For the price of this box $59.95 we received (about) $100 in products without the price of the smudge stick which is an amazing deal!
