The Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Vitamin Brightening Peeling Gel is a LONG name! But we are committed to sharing fun skincare reviews from fun companies like Elizavecca with you guys! This product was sent for free in exchange for review but can be purchased on Amazon for $14.50. Our first impression of the packaging is that it’s absolutely adorable – keeping with the rest of the Elizavecca brand.
Skincare Review
Each tube of this product contains 5.07 ounces (which is pretty much product) and some of the claims are that this gently exfoliates and smooths skin. Also that the gel lends the skin a bright quality as well as hydrating.
The tube packaging is really cute as well. The artwork is bright and fun and appeals to a younger crowd. Most of the directions are in Korean but there is a small blurb on the box that tells us how use this as well as an ingredients list.

Carbomer (acrylic acid polymer used to create a gel like consistency)
Steartrimonium Methosulfate (softening agent typically used in hair products)
Glycerin
Isopropyl Alcohol
Phenoxy-ethanol (preservative – seeing it this high in the ingredient list is not a good thing)
PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (surfactant that helps water to remove dirt and oil)
Lemon Fruit Oil (natural fragrance enhancer)
Allantoin (moisturizing ingredient)
Tocopheroly Acetate (antioxidant comprised of vitamin e)
Trideceth-10 (harmless emulsifying agent and surfactant)
Cetrimonium Chloride (quaternary ammonium product used as a preservative, this is another questionable ingredient)
Butylene Glycol
Propylene Glycol
Sausseurea Involucrata Extract (humectant ((draws moisture from the air to hydrate skin much like hyaluronic acid))
Ascophylum Nodosum Extract (antioxidant and emollient sourced from algae)
Matricaria Flower Extract (chamomile extract good for skin conditioning and fragrance)
Ethylhexyglycerin (weak conditioning agent as well as preservative)
Potassium Sorbate (questionable and widely used preservative)
Citric Acid
Lillium Candidum Bulb Extract (skin conditioning agent)
The consistency of this product is a translucent gel. The directions instruct us to use the “proper amount) however much that is. Actually this much is probably enough to cover your entire face. A little bit goes a long way! We spread it over our face and once it becomes tight we wash it off with tepid water
This has a bright lemon fragrance! We think this would be a great product to leave in the fridge and apply to the face cold although, now thinking about it we aren’t sure if these ingredients will solidify. The dry down time ranges based on how much product you use (typically 5-10 minutes). This does NOT peel despite what the name seems to imply and it’s a little tough to get off (we suggest using a washcloth). We will say though that it left our skin feeling soft and smooth. We’d suggest using this once or twice a week at most. It has a couple ingredients we’d rather it didn’t but overall this is a fun product that delivers some decent results!
