After success with my November Frock Box, I was super excited when I saw my December Frock Box sitting on my front porch! I couldn’t wait to sneak a peek!
In my Frock Box Favorites I received two shirts, one sweater cardigan, one body vest and one pair of jogger pants.
Each Frock Box comes with list of your items, the sizes and the price of each item. It includes your total if you were to keep all the items in your Frock Box.
There is also a break down of how much you will be charged for the items you keep, the process you must take if you return any items, and the date you must return items by before you are charged.
This month there was not a personalized note about the reason for picking each item. Also, I did notice that a different stylist chose my clothes this month.

Relaxed Fit Long Body Vest with Pockets – $49
A very soft, thin long body vest in smoky blue. It is very nice and flattering for my body type, but its just not my colour. I love blue jeans and wear them all the time and I found that this colour didn’t go with any of my pants. I wish it was black in colour. Looking at this photo right now, the vest and shirt actually look pretty cute together, along with my sassy model pose. Unfortunately, the colour is wrong for the rest of my wardrobe and it had a small stain at the bottom.

CC Draped Slub Knit Cardigan in Wine – $59
A thin loose fitting sweater cardigan. The colour was pretty but not a very flattering fit. The loose fitting underarms made my body look wider and did not make me feel comfortable.

Long Sleeve Layered Top in Purple – $44
When I first saw this I was super excited, it was the perfect colour with feminine ruffles. My impression changed the second I put it on. It was not flattering on me at all! The sizing was off and the material showed every bump on my body. Even the ruffles were a very strange design with no ruffles in the front.

EK Striped Knit Tee with Patch Pocket in Black – $39
Seeing this inside my bag, I thought it looked kind of cute! I love stripes! Once I put it on all I could think was that I looked like I was wearing a prison jumpsuit. I did think this shirt look cute together with the long body vest, just not worn alone.

EK Tribal Printed Knit Jogger Pant – $39
I immediately knew these were going back. This is not my style at all, I am actually rather shocked that I got these. Tribal is not my thing. As well, they were not comfortable, the fabric was scratchy and they didn’t fit my bum.
I am sending them back.
Verdict: I am a little sad that none of the clothes worked out for me this month, especially after a very good November Frock Box (The jeans and shirt from last month are amazing, I wear them almost everyday!!!). Much of the sizing this month seemed off or perhaps these clothes were just smaller fitting. Either way, the stylist should know how to pick more flattering pieces of clothing for my body. I really felt like many of the pieces were nothing like I wrote about in my style profile or even complimenting to the style inside my last Frock Box. I am not sure if it has do with a different stylist picking my clothes this month or maybe not really understanding what my style profile and what makes me feel comfortable in my every day life. I will be writing Frock Box an email to let them know my thoughts on my box this month. I do hope that next months box is a lot more my style and the sizing is better. I look forward to receiving a lot more great clothes from Frock Box!
