Our first glimpse inside the Gramma in a Box for February.

what's in the february gramma in a box

Everything that we received in our Gramma in a Box for February. This box had a “Valentine Treats” theme and was super festive!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. This explains the theme and lists everything that is included in this box.

Each package from Gramma in a Box includes 3 colors of frosting. This month’s box brought us red, pink and white. This will be used in our cookie decorating activity.

These white pareils will be used in all 3 of our projects this month!

These tiny heart shaped sprinkles can be used in all three of our projects as well!

These red sugar crystals will be used in all three projects as well.

Our melting chocolate came in pink and white this month and will be used in all our projects!

These rice crispy / cocoa crispies will be used in our Valentine Crispy Bites project.

These Valentine themed mini cupcake liners will also be used in our Valentine Crispy Bites.

This package contains both candy canes and popsicle sticks that will be used in our Valentine Candy Cane Hearts project.

These red and white sprinkles can be used in all three of our projects for the month.

Next we have candy hearts which are so appropriate and will be used in our first two projects for the month.

Finally, we received 8 cookies. 4 were shaped like hearts and the other four had scalloped edges and were circular. Each of our cookies were sugar cookies.

Okay so now what?

First we gather up all the ingredients for our first project, Valentine Candy Cane Hearts.

Then we melt our chocolate and unwrap our candy canes and sticks.

Next we lay our candy canes down and insert the popsicle stick between and put a dollop of chocolate in the center portion.

Next you’ll even it out with a toothpick or knife.

Finally, for this project you can decorate your heart with a conversation heart and some sprinkles to finish it off!

Our next project is Valentine Crispy Bites. This project requires our melting chocolate from the first craft, sprinkles and rice crispies.

First we mix our rice crispies into our melting chocolate.

Then we scoop the mixture into our cupcake liners.

Finally we top it with sprinkles and a conversation heart. (We really liked these and totally had a cheat snack with them)!

Our final project is cookie decorating. Basically we take our cookies, frosting and sprinkles and have a blast making fun and festive cookies!

Here are a couple of ours.

This box was so cute! Here are all of our finished projects!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything arrived to us perfectly in our Gramma in a Box for the month

Quality: We love how fun each of these boxes is and how each ingredient is included for how well it works in that particular project.

Curation: What a great way to create cute treats without breaking the bank. We felt like this box was so much fun and super colorful and the kids had a blast creating all these treats!
