Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside the Gramma in a Box.

Everything that we received in our November, “Thanksgiving” themed box. As always these crafts look super cute!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box inserts. One tells us what’s included in this box and the other 3 are our recipes.

This month we’ll be creating 3 Thanksgiving themed treats and next month it will be winter themed (sign up by December 3rd to be sure you get yours).

The reverse lists each of the items included in this box.

These fall leaves shaped sprinkles will be used in our cookie decorating project.

Our candy corns will be used in our Pretzel Turkey project – also hiding in this container were the turkeys eyes and their noses (chocolate covered sunflower seeds).

Our three bags of frosting in orange, yellow and brown. These will be used in our cookie decorating activity.

These multi-colored sprinkles will be used in our cookie decorating craft.

As well as these chocolate sprinkles.

Our melting chocolate will be used in both our pretzel turkey project as well as our acorn kisses project.

And of course for our cookie decorating craft we’ll need cookies! We received 4 acorn cookies, 2 turkey cookies and 2 leaf cookies.

Our mini pretzels will be used in our Pretzel Turkey project.

In this container we have vanilla wafers and chocolate chips that will be used in our acorn kisses project.

And the kisses will be used in our acorn kisses project as well.

The final item in this box is our 2 pieces of parchment paper that serve as a clean work space.

Okay, so now what?

First we gather all of our ingredients for our acorn kisses project.

Then we unwrap and sort the pieces.

We melt our chocolate for 1 minute, stir and then continue heating until thoroughly melted.

Then we put a dollop of chocolate on the flat side of all the vanilla wafers. Now you’ll attach the flat side of the chocolate chips to the chocolate.

Next you’ll add a dollop of chocolate to the rounded side of the wafer and attach the flat side of the kiss to it. Allow these to set. Aren’t they so cute?!

Now we’ll get everything together that we need for our pretzel turkeys.

First we take the rest of the melting chocolate and attach three candy corns to each pretzel.

And then we attach 2 eyes and a nose with the chocolate as well. And simple as that, we’re done!

Our final project are the cookies. This is the project where the kids have the most creativity and artistic license. There are three colors of icing and numerous sprinkles to choose from.

Here they are creating their fall themed cookies!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything arrives to us perfectly and we love that they give us a use by date and full ingredients lists.

Quality: We love these well thought out crafts for not only the fun factor but also their simplicity. Short and sweet, perfect for little attention to spans.

Curation: This Thanksgiving themed box was really cute and brought together some of the most fun elements of this time of year. The crafts were fun and easy and great fun was had by all!
