Subscription Box Review

Trestique All Over Starlighter Powder in Ultra Violet

$18

First up is an innovative product from Trestique. This twist up highlighter is a neat way to easily apply highlight on the go. Use it straight from the tube or use a brush for a more subtle look.

Touch in Sol No Poreblem Priming Water

$23

Not going to lie… kind of tired of seeing Touch in Sol everywhere in beauty boxes these days. Not sure the difference between this priming water and their primer and their priming essence either? It does have nice ingredients like rose though that help to combat inflammation.

F.A.R.A.H. Bruhes Midnight Pro Trio

$48

Next up we have  a brush trio from F.A.R.A.H. These are 100% vegan and cruelty free. This trio included a buff brush, blush brush and a stippling brush. I really F.A.R.A.H brushes so this is a really nice inclusion.

Jules Smith Beauty Power Gloss Duo

$32

I’m always happy to see different brands pop up in beauty boxes and this is definitely one that I haven’t heard of before. These are rosy and are also crystal inspired… but kind of bummed they are glosses. The colors are Namaste all Day and Serene Queen, not sure if all subscribers received these colors.

Betty Boop X Ipsy Cheek to Cheek Blush Palette

$28

The final item in our box for the month of October is the one that got everyone angry. “Betty Boop?! That sounds cheap” and so forth and so on. Not sure that I know the quality of this product or this brand yet and I’m not really living for the packaging. But blushes are nice and they’re still keeping with the palette promise. This palette is exclusive to Ipsy!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was package well and arrived perfectly in the October Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Quality: The Betty Boop is an eh but everything else that came in this box was a really nice quality.

Curation: They are still making nicely varied boxes but this just isn’t the best box that they’ve done thus far.
