Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look my imagination mail

Our first glimpse inside the Imagination Mail Box for June.

Everything that we received in our Imagination Mail Box for June. This awesome mix was sent from “Father Time” and included items that help children learn time as well as items that celebrate National Build It Day on June 7th. Great Mix!

So what is all this stuff?

Our letter from Father Time that tells us a bit more about this month’s box.

This sheet is for the grown up helper and explains how to use each item to get the most out of it.

We also receive an assessment checklist.

And finally, we have a fun holiday calendar as well as a sheet of science experiments you can do in coordination with this box.

Perfect Timing Game

$11.99

This fast paced game encourages players to work together to move the hands of the clock to get it to read the time on the clock cards. An excellent addition to a box from “Father Time”.

Picasso Tiles Constructable Front Loader Tractor

$19.99

This cool tractor can be taken apart and put back together with the included screwdriver set.

Use the screwdriver to remove screws! This is great for dexterity and small motor skills!

The screwdriver even has interchangeable heads for your little builder!

Tool Belt & Tool Set

This 12 piece tool set includes everything your child needs to imagine their own workshop where they can fix anything! We love that each of the tools is labeled with the name and the belt is handy for fixing items all around the house!

This was definitely Oliver’s favorite item in this box!

Table Topics

Each box from My Imagination Mail includes a few cards with topics to talk about at the dinner table. They all go along with the month’s theme and are great ways to get everyone engaging!

Note Cards

Each box also comes with 5 multi-colored note cards to encourage your kids to write! We love this idea!

Watercolor Paint Set

Maybe instead of writing a note in your note card, your child decides to paint a picture. Now there’s nothing standing in their way! Big plus that watercolors are easy to clean up!

Stickers

Our kids love stickers… so getting a book of them with each Imagination Mail Box is great!

This month’s stickers match the construction theme and are totally perfect for Oliver! There are 208 stickers in this book in total!

Digs Dog Dig Beginner Reader

$3.19

We can’t say how much we love that they include a book each month. We usually read them before bed to kind of loop back to all the things that we learned within the box.

This book blends a simple theme with concepts that kids love (building equipment and dogs)! Super cute!

Father’s Day Photo Frame Craft

This craft is in honor of Father’s Day. Apply your small tool stickers and then place the toolbox into the base to create a really cool photo frame.

Here’s Oliver creating his frame for Daddy.

He even decorated the back.

The finished product!

Monthly Pin

Each box from Imagination Mail comes with a different pin. This month it was a cat riding an excavator which was pretty stinkin’ cute!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Imagination Mail Box is a wonderful subscription for kids, not only for it’s exciting items but also it’s subtle way of sneaking in the learning! The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is awesome. They always include items from brand names and great toys for kiddos! Curation is super. We love this month’s theme and the fun items that really engaged Oliver!
