Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in postbox

Our first glimpse inside the Postbox for January

what's in the january postbox

Everything that we received in our January “Zesty” themed Postbox. This is such a well put together box, we are amazed!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. The front lists each of the items that we received.

The reverse has a recipe intended to share with your snail mail recipients.

Change Purse

This soft coin purse really makes this package pop! This soft velour outside makes it tactile yet still useful. We’ll be putting this in our weekly pool for our kids good behavior!

Star Scent Candle from Objects with Purpose Candles

$10

Next up is this delicious smelling candle which was also a box bonus. With notes of Tahitian Vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg and citrus zest this candle is bright but still soft and calming. It also came with it’s own pack of matches to light it!

Exclusive Pencils

This month in lieu of our ordinary Postmark’d Studio Pencil we received these three “zesty” pencils. These are exclusive to this box and each has a unique and fun saying on them. We love how the colors of this box all pair together so well!

Citrus Slice Mini Notebooks from Inkello Letterpress

$3

This set of 3, 6 page notebooks is a beautiful way to pull our zesty theme together. Use these to write notes to yourself and keep in your pocket. The bright colors work for different aspects of your life.

Inkello is located in Lawrence Kansas.

Postage

This box contained all the postage that we’d need to send out our letters. We received vintage postage which is not only fun, but also shows us how it used to be. They do also include a card that shows us how to use the stamps correctly! We love this variety!

Grapefruit Card from Hazel & Dolly

$3.75

Our first card for the month is this brightly colored grapefruit card. This is the perfect card to drop a line to someone you are missing or send a quick thank you.

Hazel & Dolly is a Detroit Michigan based letterpress.

Citrus Bowl Card from Brown Parcel Press

$5

This very Cezanne-esque card is probably our favorite for the month. Simple but pretty this striking card makes a great way to stay in touch with the people you love!

Brown Parcel Press is located in Hancock Georgia!

Hey Hey Greeting Card from Hazelmade

$4

This adorable card is the perfect way to share birthday wishes with your girlfriend. We love Mojitos and think the ones on this card are adorable and kind of make us thirsty!

Hazelmade is a letterpress located in Kent, Ohio.

Lemon Pie Card from Lili Graffiti

$5

This beautiful card is one we’d much rather frame than give away. Our whole family loves lemons so much and this print is so very pretty!

A stray from the typical, this card is from a Montreal based Letterpress called Lili Graffiti.

Postcards

These 3 perfectly coordinating postcards are the perfect addition to this zesty themed box!

They were not included in our box insert though, so we aren’t sure who made them!

So in summary

Presentation: We love the way this box arrives, everything is packaged brilliantly and arrives to us excellently. The unboxing experience for Postbox is unlike any other.

Quality: We love that they source their cards from small letterpress’. Each card is handmade and beautiful.

Curation: We know we always say it but this month’s theme might be our favorite yet. This box came together so perfectly.

Box Economy: For the price of this box $25 we received $30.75 in items + everything we couldn’t find prices for which is a great deal!
