Our first glimpse inside the Postmark’d Studio Box.

august postmark'd studio

Everything that we received in our August “Starry Night” theme Box. This includes all the typically included items as well as 2 bonus items and the cards for the month are STUNNING!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. This lists each of the items that were included in this box and a little bit about the letterpress that they came from.

Keeping it “star” related the back of our insert tells us the proper way to write fan mail.

Metallic Colored Pencils

$9.25

This set of 12 metallic colored pencils can really embellish your cards for the month in a bright shiny way! These are extremely pretty and for your convenience the package also includes a sharpener.

Aurora Borealis Postcard

$3.95

This gorgeous postcard was created using a lenticular printing technology to give depth and allow the image to move as you change position. We think the colors of the Northern Lights are fantastic.

The back gives plenty of space for both the address and a message!

Mountains of Thanks Card

$6

In ever pretty rose gold, this thank you card from Hello! Lucky a San Francisco based letterpress creates unique cards that spread joy, fun and kindness.

The back has the Hello! Lucky logo!

Moon Log Book

$5.50

A little bit like a Field Notes but with a lot more personality. This fits so perfectly with this month’s theme and is perfect to slide in your back pocket! The moon would make this the perfect dream journal .

Postage

Each package from Postmark’d Studio contains 4 regular first class stamps as well as one postcard stamps. This month’s stamps have Sally Ride images (super fitting) and a little snail image for our postcard.

Far Out Patch

$6

From Lucky Horse Press this colorful patch depicts a rainbow as well as a solar system and would look great on a backpack, hat or even a denim jacket. Super cute bonus item in this month’s box!

The reverse includes instructions on how to iron this onto your clothes.

You’re so Stellar Card

$5

Let someone you love know how great you truly think they are with this pretty card. We love the design of this one and think it really brings this mix of cards to life. The vivid blue with the gold / bronze is beautiful.

We love that the backs of these cards tell us the name of each of the letterpress’, so if we ever try to reorder we can easily find it!

Thinking of You Card

$4.50

This is the perfect card to drop in the mail when you really want someone to know you care. The moonlit sky as the background also makes it feel like you are hoping and sending them positive vibes as well. We’ve actually already sent this card off to someone we know who’s going through a rough patch.

When It Rains Card

$4.50

The final card in this month’s assortment is from Ginger P. Designs – a Jonesville, Minnesota letterpress. This card is great for reminding someone to enjoy the little things that life has to offer and to slow down once in a while.

We also have to say that we love the way rose gold has been incorporated in this selection of cards. It gives it a nice, sophisticated feeling.

Pencil

Each Postmark’d Studio Box comes with a pencil with the Postmark’d Studio name on it. This is the first month they sent us a gray one in lieu of their standard blue!

So in summary

Quality: Each package from Postmark’d Studio contains a high quality assortment of cards from small, independent card makers. Each card is unique, well made and not something you’d find anywhere else, so we are extremely happy with the quality of this box.

Presentation: Everything in this box arrives perfectly!

Curation: This is probably our favorite box as far as curation goes. Each assortment goes together perfectly – not only in theme but also in it’s aesthetic properties and we find that particularly satisfying!

Box Economy: For the $25 that this box costs we received about $45.50 in products which is a pretty great deal!
