Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in simple loose leaf

Our first glimpse inside the Simple Loose Leaf Tea, Classic Tea Box.

Everything that we received in our Classic Tea Box. We are amazed at all that’s included for just $9!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert.

Inside they list each of the teas that we received along with their descriptions and characteristics.

The reverse has brewing instructions for both hot tea as well as cold brewed tea.

Reusable Tea Bags

They’ve included 4 reusable tea bags. We love reusable tea bags because they’re convenient and less wasteful than traditional tea bags!

Blue Lady Grey Tea

Our first tea for the month is our black tea in the form of, “Blue Lady Grey”. This blend includes; whole leaf black tea, blue mellow blossoms, lavender flowers and bergamot flavoring.

We love how you can see the lavender flowers in this blend.

Blood Orange Herbal Tea

Next up, we have our herbal tea for the month. This tea includes a beautiful and aromatic blend of;  Rooibos, orange peel, hibiscus, rosehips, apple pieces, safflowers, rose petals as well as orange, vanilla and lemon flavors.

This is a much more fine tea because it is Rooibos and makes a great tea to end your night!

Genmaicha

Our green tea for this month is an organic Chinese Bencha style Sencha green tea. It contains Bancha Green Tea, popped corned and toasted, hulled rice kernels.

We haven’t tried this yet but love green tea and can’t wait to give it a shot!

QiLan Oolong

A departure from the classic Oolong tea, this tea is literally translated as, “strange orchid”. The flavor is lighter than traditional oolong and the color is more yellow; it also has a floral scent similar to an orchid.

This tea we haven’t had a chance to try either but it’s the one we are most excited that we received. It’s rarity makes it very mysterious and we need to know more!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything is packaged well and arrives to us perfectly.

Quality: We love that they include organic tea and that a full explanation of each tea is included on the box insert.

Curation: We feel like they pooled together a really great mix of different teas for us to try and love that they always include an herbal (we love to have a mug of tea at night!)
