My first glimpse inside the box from Allure for August.

Everything that came in my August box from Allure. This is a really nice one!

So what is all this stuff?

My box insert. This lists each of the items included in my box.

First up in my box for the month is an item that I am super pumped for. This is the Pixi Skintreats Rose Oil Blend and it’s full size. I love all things rose and this oil promises to work on sensitive skin! I love that and will def be using this for a bit of extra moisturization!

Then we received a sheet mask. I have to be honest and say that I wasn’t excited to get another sheet mask as I feel like the ship has sailed on them but after using this mask from Looks & Meii I really liked it! This had a double layer – meaning there was a layer of fiber mask with a thick serum sheet coating the inside. I used this, this morning and really loved the hydrating properties and I also love the packaging!

Next up is the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum. This is a sample sized product from this cult k-beauty favorite. This serum has a blend of five Korean herbs that work together to hydrate, brighten and firm the skin.

This next sample is from H2O+ and is their Gel Cream Moisturizer for Sensitive skin. While I like that it works for sensitive skin gel moisturizers just aren’t enough for me so I’ll probably pass this along to a friend.

The next item in my box is a Botanical Primer from Whish (yes Whish – haven’t heard from them in a minute have you!). This is a very lightweight primer (not a blurring primer by any stretch) but a nice one to lay down for an everyday makeup look. It dries down nice and gives you just a bit of tack!

This Erno Lazlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar is a nice inclusion to really round out the skincare items so there is something for everyone but this one just isn’t for me as it’s formulated for people with oily skin. Another item I’ll pass along to a friend.

The final item in my box from Allure for the month is my absolute favorite! This Floss Brighten Up Highlighter came in the color Sunlit

While this isn’t a full size it is a really nice travel size and upon first look the color didn’t really catch my eye but…

Damn Gina! That is so beautiful and blends out to give you a gorgeous sun kissed look!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from Allure for August

Quality: Everything that I received was nice quality

Curation: I like that they tried to get everyone a skincare item that they could use and still offer up some nice makeup products in addition. Great month from Allure..
