Our first glimpse inside the Book of the Month package for September.

Everything that I received in this month’s box. Of the five selections for September I chose this one, “The Ten Thousand Doors of January” by Alix E. Harrow, it sounded absolutely awesome!

So what is all this stuff?

Book of the Month really is exactly what it claims to be, a single title a month. But they also threw in this bookmark just for the fun of it!

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow

The description for this book sounded amazing, it’s set in the early 1900’s and follows January Scaller a ward of Mr. Locke living in an expansive mansion. January finds a curious book and reads it to reveal a story of intrigue that is entwined with her own. I love anything that includes fabulous mansions and am really hoping that this book has great imagery because that is what I imagined when I read the description.

It’s important to note that each book you receive from Book of the Month comes with a BOTM dust jacket and has the date of the month you received it printed on it.

This book originally retailed for $27.99 so even if you pay full price you’re getting it at a STEAL!

So in summary

Presentaton: Everything arrived to us perfectly in our Book of the Month package

Quality: The quality of the book and the dust jacket is excellent. I love that they include hardcover titles!

Curation: Because you can pick from five different titles each month, you really do have a broad selection and most I may not have know about otherwise!

Box Economy: For the price of this box ($14.99) I received a book valued at $27.99 which is a great deal
