Subscription Box Review

subscription box review

My first glimpse inside the Books & Treasures Box.

book subscription boxes

Everything that came in my box from Books & Treasures. This is such an awesome collection of items!

So what is all this stuff?

My box insert. This lists each of the items that was included in my box along with who makes them.

Flower Net by Lisa See

The first item in my box for the month is the first book in the Red Princess Series, Flower Net.

This mystery novel follows the murder of the US Ambassador’s son in China and the Red Prince’s Death as well. They believe the deaths are connected. David Stark and Liu Hulan find themselves increasingly attracted to each other as they work together to solve this case.

Book Buttons

The first item in our box (besides our book of course) is this set of book loving buttons from Buttonhead on Etsy. These are small and great for a backpack or jean jacket!

Matchbook Notepad

Next we have this cute little match book note pad from FunkyChickenScoop at Etsy. This is covered in little keys and opens up to an actual tiny notepad. Great to keep in your pocket to write down quick notes or other information.

Lip Balm Keychain Holder

Next up is my absolute favorite items that was included in this box, a lip balm keychain holder. How INGENIUS! I know I lose lip balms all the time and a keychain holder like this one could prove invaluable!

The pattern i received is checkered and the space is just big enough to hold your balm! This is from weth3eegirls at Etsy.

Handmade Bookmark by Books and Treasures

Every box from Books and Treasures comes with one of their own in house made bookmarks.

The one that I received had a silver charm and gray fabric with white polka dots which I really liked!

Inspirational Notecard from Emily Cromwell Designs

Next in our box is an inspirational notecard from Emily Cromwell Designs at Etsy. This says Start Each Day with a Smile and has a pretty flower pattern on it! Cute!

Lip Balm

Then we have this tube of lip balm from MajesticLips from Etsy. This is peppermint flavored and has a Stephen King quote on it, “Books are their own unique portable magic.” Which is so fitting for a box like this!

Tea Cup Coaster

Next up in my box is a coaster from DaoDazzlingCreations at Etsy. This coaster is crocheted and is shaped like a tea cup! I love the pretty eggplant purpose color and think this goes well with the next two items that were included in my box.

Owl Mug

How awesome is this Owl Mug! This is unique and definitely has a vintage feel to it.

I love that even the inside is glazed.

This is definitely my favorite item that was included in this box!

Coffee

For the portion of my box that covers coffee, tea or hot chocolate I chose coffee. I received Colonial Int’l Coffee in French Vanilla. I look forward to trying this out as it will be a nice stray from the ordinary.

So in summary

Presentation: Everything is packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from Books and Treasures

Quality: I LOVE that they are sourcing their items from small vendors and etsy makers! I love receiving unique handmade items and this box definitely fits the bill

Curation: For a book themed box I received many fun, book themed items.
