My first glimpse inside the January Boxy Charm package. This month’s theme is “Breaking the Ice”
Everything that came in my January package. This is a pretty nice assortment of items!
So what is all this stuff?

Skin & Co. Roma Truffle Therapy Face Gommage

The first item in my box for this month is a skincare product. I had no idea what a gommage was until I received this. This cream is delicate and exfoliates and apparently has a very pleasant aroma. This product contains sweet almond oil, apricot seed powder and black winter truffle extract.
Avant Skincare 8 Hour Radiance Renewal Sleeping Mask

The second product in my box is also another skincare item and it seems… well a bit pricey! This sounds more appealing to me than the first product though as sleeping masks tend to work well with my skin. It not only nourishes and hydrates but it also tightens to help hide fine lines and wrinkles. I really love that you don’t have to remember to wash this off in the morning either!
Manna Kadar Beauty Lip Whip

Our first makeup product for this month is a Lip Whip from Manna Kadar. Alright, so let me preface by saying that I wasn’t excited to get a Manna Kadar product as I feel like they got played out a couple years ago in beauty boxes but after trying this I really like it!
This dries down to a matte and I have to say that I am digging this color!
Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Palette

The palette in our box for the month is the Vintage Dawn Palette from Ace Beaute. There was alternatively their sister palette to this one in boxes for this month as well. The colors in this palette are inspired by sunsets and sunrises around the world.
This palette has 12 pans and while the colors aren’t ones I would normally reach for they are quite striking.
The colors are pretty however they’re are a couple of the browns I found chalky.
The second half of the palette is really pretty as well and those final two blue shades are great!
Pretty Vulgar Under Cover Concealer

The final item in our Boxy Charm for this month is a concealer from Pretty Vulgar. I haven’t really messed around with this yet so I can’t really say much about it but I will say that I’m glad to start seeing skincare and base face products starting to be included in beauty boxes!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box.
Quality: Boxy does a great job of including items that are really high quality!
Curation: This was a nice mix and while it isn’t the best box I’ve ever received from them it was by no means bad!
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($25) I received $216 in products which is a phenomenal deal!
