Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in the boxycharm box

Our first glimpse inside the Boxycharm August Box. We love how well it’s packed with the eggshell foam!

what's in the august boxycharm

Everything that we received in our August “Life of the Party” themed box. This box contains 6 different products!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert

This details each of the items that we received along with their retail values.

Wander Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks
wander gold eye masks

$13

Just what you need after a late night out! We received 3 sets of these gold foil masks. Reduce dark circles and brighten your under eye area in a snap! We love masks so we’re excited to try these out (we aren’t as huge fans of under eye masks but see their appeal).

House of Lashes False Eyelashes
house of lashes heartbreaker

$12

There were many different lash styles that came in this month’s box – we received the “Boudoir Mini” in Heartbreaker. These are pretty and full. We wouldn’t have chosen lashes for our selves but can see why they’d be put in a box with a “Life of the Party” theme! House of Lashes, lashes are cruelty free and can be worn 15 times!

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick

$24

While there are a few different variations of Boxycharm we aren’t sure how much the personal survey you take upon subscribing factors into what is sent to you. Regardless of all the Smashbox lip products that were included this month we were hoping for one of these!

We received the color “Stay Neutral” and while these aren’t completely transfer proof they are super long lasted, highly pigmented and go on like a dream!

Bang Beauty Chocolate Eyeliner

$22

Is it okay to say that we are intimidated by gel liner? We sort of are. We will say though that it’s really nice getting a color that ISN’T black in a beauty box!

The coolest part about this product though is that .. yes you can use it as an eyeliner but you can also use it as an eye shadow base or even an eyebrow gel!

Adesse Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil
adesse sweet almond cuticle oil

$18

Lightweight and non-greasy this cuticle oil is a treat for your nails. Formulated with Vitamin E, Shea, Sweet Almond and Jojoba oils that will hydrate both your cuticles and nails!

Laura Lee Los Angeles Party Animal Eyeshadow Palette
laura lee party animal palette

$19

Definitely the star of the show and the perfect palette for nights out on the town is Laura Lee’s Party Animal palette. Controversy aside.. we’re just going to talk about the makeup.

6 shades in total all of which are brightly colored.

From top to bottom we have; Issa Party (matte), Damage Control (matte and glides on probably the best color in this palette), Karaoke (matte but a little chalky), Dranks (matte and a nice soft orange that isn’t fluffy), Bottoms Up (they say this is a matte with glitter … we’d call it a shimmer would make a great topper), and Hungover (iridescent purple that looks blue in the pan pretty but not sure how this will actually apply to the eye.) We aren’t huge fans of the names because she has tons of young girls that look up to her but the palette is all in all not bad!

So in summary

Quality: This is our first Boxycharm and they delivered! So happy with this assortment and all these high end brands that we received!

Presentation: Perfect, everything was packaged well and arrived perfectly.

Curation: For a life of the party themed box they couldn’t have put together a better selection! Can’t wait for next month already!

Box Ecomomy: For the $21 that Boxycharm costs we received $108 in products which is a fantastic deal!
