dandelion subscription review

Dandelion is a monthly cruelty free subscription box that helps people make the transfer to a more conscious, vegan lifestyle so much more easy. Upon subscribing you’ll choose from 1 of 4 categories; personal care, makeup, pet and home, you’ll then select whether you want the Mini Box that contains 3 items for $30 or the Full Box that contains 5 items for $45 (we’re reviewing the full size). Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in dandelion box

Our first glimpse inside the Dandelion Box. There isn’t an insert but they put coupon codes for each of the brands that they include on the inside top of the box!

what's in the dandelion box

Everything that we received in our Dandelion Box. This is a box that falls into the personal care category and we find that really exciting!

So what is all this stuff?

In addition to fabulous vegan and cruelty free items Dandelion also sends you tasty recipes, this one for BBQ Cauliflower Tacos is from plant based nutrition coach Danni McGhee! Also important to note that Dandelion donates a portion of proceeds to a different animal cause each month!

Cute & Funky Organic Facial Rounds

$9

You can never have too many of these guys. Great for applying serums or removing makeup these are less wasteful than wipes! Made with organic bamboo cotton fleece this package contained 10 rounds in total.

Visions of Venus Candle from Moon Stone Candle Co.

$4.70

This wood wick candle is made with soy wax and is 100% cruelty free.

We couldn’t find a whole lot about this scent on their etsy but it has a jasmine like floral bouquet mixed with a richer (what we call creamy) scent of amber. And obviously it’s a party when you open it with all that glitter.

Booda Butter All in One Daily Moisturizer

$14

The ingredients in this moisturizer are found only in nature. Great way to nourish your skin daily (especially during these colder winter months). We are kinda loving this cute packaging too!

This rich and creamy moisturizer contains just five ingredients; shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil and olive oil!

Love Potion Body Fragrance Oil from Cosmic Jacuzzi

$4

This company has tons of amazing looking products on their site – one being a “Roses are Red Body Mist” (you all know us and our florals). This fragrance oil has a flowery scent along with a quick punch of citrus at the end! It’s very nice, we can see this being our go-to scent!

Leesha’s Lacquer Cuticle Oil

$5

Not just cruelty free and vegan Leesha’s Lacquers and polishes are 5 free as well! This oil is scented with White Tea & Ginger and we love it! This bottle has 7.5 mL of product!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged carefully and arrived to us perfectly in our Dandelion subscription.

Quality: We love that they are sourcing their items from lesser know brands and little indie shops!

Curation: We can’t wait to see Dandelion grow and what they come up with in the future (and we’re going to creep the internet for some of their makeup boxes!)
