Verdict:

This is my third Grillers Monthly box that I have received and this month had new surprises and was different enough from previous boxes that it kept me wanting more.  The Wilhelm’s BBQ Sauce and marinade are truly a great find.  I have never seen these in stores and I can’t wait to try them out.  The Mesquite BBQ Rub will be great to try on Salmon spicing and changing up my usual recipe.  I thought that the towels are a great addition and will look great hanging from the cabinet door on my BBQ.  To be honest, I chuckled a little at the ball point pen and the price of $2.95; I think that items in the box should better fit the typical end user, a BBQ enthusiast.   I found that the combined retail value of each item exceeded the price of the box, even after the pen and $5 coupon were taken off.  As I said before, the combined price does not include the value placed on discovering new spices from local Canadian companies and great flavors from around the world.  I think the real value comes from the excitement to try new things on the BBQ or in the kitchen, and find new favorites.
