Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a monthly beauty subscription box. Each package includes 5 full sized items for just $25. Additionally, Ipsy also has their original glam bag which includes 5 sample sized items for $12 and the Ipsy Ultimate which includes 12 items a mix of full size and sample sided items for $50. My first glimpse inside the Ipsy Plus Box for July.
Everything that came in my box for July from Ipsy. I have to say that this is a bit disappointing based on what I am used to from them.
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. I am still a bit disappointed that they stopped including descriptions on the items. But this month’s theme is “Staycation”
Ofra X Nikki Tutorials Highlighter

This highlighter in Glazed Doughnut from Ofra and Nikki Tutorials is BLINDING! I do love me an Ofra Highlight so I was most excited to see this in my box for the month.
Here it is after I blended it out on my hand, this is going to be a lot of fun to play with.
Midflower Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask

Next up in my box from Ipsy are these three moisturizing hyaluronic acid masks from Midflower. Personally I’m kind of over sheet masks… I haven’t tried this one in particular but I’m not excited about it either.
Contour Culture Blush Brush

Then in my box for the month is a beauty tool. This brush and contour brush from Complex Culture looks beautiful and also has their signature grey rubberized handle. Not sure how much I’ll be using this one though.
Il Makiage Color Boss Single

This was the item I chose for the month. This is one of the first times in a long time Ipsy didn’t offer some sort of palette. While this single from Il Makiage is pretty and packaged well it just isn’t what I’m accustomed to.
Nature’s Cartel Lip Gloss

Finally in my box for the month is a lip gloss from a new to me brand – Nature’s Lip Gloss. The color is called Liquid Disco and has lots of micro glitter that is super reflective.
This is really pretty!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well in my box from Ipsy for the month of July
Quality: Everything that I received was of really great quality.
Curation: This is where they sort of lost me. This was not a great assortment for me and was less good than boxes that I’ve received in the past.
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($25) I received $130 in products which is a phenomenal deal!
