lancer advanced retinol treatment review

Lancer Skincare is a 3 decades in the making project of Dr. Harold Lancer.. originator of the Lancer “Glow”. In this line of skincare products you’ll find many that follow Dr. Lancer’s own 3 step method, “Polish, Cleanse and Nourish” but also many that treat specific skin concerns. Particularly this line fights the onset of and the symptoms of aging. We got our hands on a full sized bottle of the Lancer Advanced Retinol Treatment and we were super pumped to try it out! NAT received this package at no cost for review purposes.

Skincare Review

Each bottle of this retinol cream is 1 ounce and retails for $95. Among the Lancer line of products there is a grouping of “Advanced” treatments. One of which is a Retinol treatment that uses not only Retinol but also Bakuchiol to combat the signs of aging. Some of the claims are that this will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also improving skin’s elasticity, texture, tone and giving it a smoother and firmer appearance.

The formulation of this cream is beautiful. While it feels moisturizing you should only use this cream at night followed by your typical moisturizer. It’s lightweight and should be applied after your serums. The scent is somewhat lemon-y yet mild and we really like that. If you aren’t familiar with Retinol it should never be worn in the sun which is why it is used in your PM routine. We found this cream to be a great addition to our night time regime (especially since we love Bakuchiol) which is a Retinol like serum without any of the side effects! Bakuchiol can even be worn in the daytime!
