My first glimpse inside the Lipstick Junkie Box for August. I love how they change the box for each month! This month it has a really cool, vibrant, flower pattern.
Everything that came in my box for August. The theme for this month is Bright lips and Hot Summer Nights and as always there are three products included.
So what is all this stuff?
The box insert. The front tells you about this month’s boxes theme and also links you to social media for the Lipstick Junkie Box.
The back of the insert lists each of the items that came in our box along with their retail values.
Beauty Vaulte Lustre Lips in “Send Nudes”

The first item in our package is a lip gloss from Beauty Vaulte. This came in a beautiful magnetic box that can be repurposed to hold valuables or other trinkets. The color is pretty and is my favorite cool toned nude shade.
This had surprisingly very little scent and applies glossy but not too tacky! It does leave a nice amount of color as well.
Laritzy Velvet Liquid Lipstick in “Swoon”

Next we have my very favorite item in this box because the shade is simply stunning! Laritzy is a brand I know and love – each of their products is both vegan as well as cruelty free. This shade is a bright red with a healthy dose of micro glitter.
I love the scent of the Laritzy formula – it reminds me of sun tan lotion in the best way possible. But look at that color, perfect for the holidays and it stays ALL DAY!
The applicator is nice as well and comes to a bit of a point so that you can line the lip precisely.
Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Rust”

The final item in our box is from Dirty Little Secret and can I just say for a second how much I LOVE their packaging? The color is rust and is red but not too vibrant… it’s subdued enough that you could wear this everyday.
Here it is swatched and looking at it in the picture I see a beautiful orange undertone that I love! This is also very long wearing and NOT overly drying which I love!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged beautifully and arrived to us perfectly in our August Lipstick Junkie package.
Quality: I love that they use independent brands that use high quality ingredients. Each formulation that I received was excellent!
Curation: This box had a fun assortment of shades with a focus on red. I really liked the items that came in my box this month!
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($18) I received $46.50 in products which is an excellent deal.
