Lip Monthly sends all your lippies inside the cutest little makeup bag each month. This month’s bag is simple, yet fun! A few months ago I received a similar bag with the words the sassiest.

Inside my package was a card highlighting the brands that I received this month. It also included spoilers for the Lip Monthly PLUS December bag.

UNICORN SNOT Glitter Lip Gloss, Yellow – retails for $8 USD

A holographic glitter lip gloss that is lightweight and goes on smooth – never sticky. It has a sweet, subtle cotton-candy scent and an ample dose of holographic sparkle. Your lips will sparkle and dazzle with every word you speak. A cruelty-free and vegan product with cosmetic-grade glitter. An absolute favorite lip gloss for my daughters!

KALEIDO Cosmetics Crazy Foils -Unicorn Activated Eyeshadow, Game Changer – retails for $19 USD

Recommendations: It seems like just yesterday I got my November bag in the mail. I’m so lucky that now I got my December box. Merry late Christmas to me! I really enjoyed this bag. The value inside this bag wasn’t as much as in other months but my daughters just love the Unicorn Snot lip gloss and I can’t wait to try the Cargo lip contour 2-in-1. Other than that a few of the items were duplicates from a few months ago and many of the products are starting to somewhat repeat after about 6 months of subscribing. Maybe a slightly different shade or a different brand but the same product. I still feel like the value of Lip Monthly is worth it! In my opinion, Lip Monthly is a great way to expand your comfort bubble and try something new for only $5 for your first month!

Lip Monthly November 2020 Review:

Lip Monthly sends all your lippies inside the cutest little makeup bag each month. I am a tad disappointed as this was the same bag that I received last month. It’s a cute bag but not very good quality. And I definitely don’t need two.

Recommendations: My Lip Monthly bags have been arriving super late each month lately. I’m not sure how we are in January and I just got the November bag at the end of December. Each month I look forward to my Lip Monthly bag, so it’s not fun having to wait. This month I was disappointed that I got the same cosmetic bag as last month, nevertheless, the products were still very much to my liking and look forward to them each month. For only $12.95 (or only $5 for your first bag) I get 4 full-sized lip products. This is a fun way to experiment with new lip colours and products at a budget-friendly price tag. And with this month’s box having a retail value of over $70 USD, I would say I got my money’s worth. I love that Lip Monthly has begun branching out to include products that aren’t just for our lips. With Covid we all must wear face masks when we are out in public, thus not being able to show off our beautiful lips. I hope that Lip Monthly will continue to offer this variety to its bags each month even when the world is back to normal. Sometimes my favorite products are the unexpected beauty extras in my bag each month.

Lip Monthly sends all your lippies inside the cutest little makeup bag each month. This bag has a fun design but the quality of this month’s bag feels cheap. It feels more like plastic, is very thin and see-through.

#GIVE THEM LALA BEAUTY Matte Lipstick, Queen – retail value $16 USD

This lightweight and cruelty-free matte lipstick is made with a formula that dries down matte and leaves your lips flawless and kissable. It is smudge-proof for long-lasting, beautiful lips. I could not find this colour on their website but it is a very pretty rich pink colour.

Bellápierre Kiss Proof Lip Crème, Rose Petal – retail value $20 USD

A rich, full-coverage liquid lipstick that is supposed to last for hours. It goes on smooth but dries to a matte finish. With such a rich pigmented colour you need a steady hand while applying, something I need to work on. This was not my favorite colour, but will be perfect to gift to a friend.

Rose Petal – deep mauve

Doucce Lip Definer Pencil, Estella – retail value $20 USD

You will love this velvety smooth and waterproof lip definer for use on your entire lip. It glides on without tugging or pulling and it will keep your lips looking beautiful for hours without smearing.

Estella – rosy-brown that looks natural when applied

Total retail value… $66 USD

Verdict: I have been receiving Lip Monthly for a few months now and each month I find at least 2 items that I love. This month my favorite items are the delicious Jersey Shore strawberry lip balm (I can never have enough of this during the cold dry winter months up in Canada) and the Doucee liner (it glides on so smooth and ads a little extra subtle pop for my lips). For only $12.95 (or only $5 for your first bag) this is a great way to find fun, new lip or makeup products that I normally would never try. It is a way to burst out of my bubble and sample multiple products at an affordable price.

Trick: Deep pink with red undertones and a hint of gold shimmer

Cargo Cosmetics Gel Lip Color, Sicily – retails for $20 US

The perfect lipstick for a kiss of color. Lightweight and moisturizing this gel lipstick glides on like silk. Your lips will stay well hydrated.

Portland Bee Balm, Oregon Mint – retails for $2.99 US

Your lips will thank you for using this silky, smooth, all-natural mint balm that is made of only four ingredients: local Pacific Northwest beeswax, organic cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil, organic California extra virgin olive oil, and Oregon peppermint essential oil.

APPEAL Gel Liner, Dolce – retails for $21 US

Verdict: This Lip Monthly bag only cost me $5 US! Yes, that is right I got $66 US worth of amazing brand-name lip products for only $5 US! This bag was so worth it in my mind! If you love lip products and subscription boxes, I would very highly recommend this makeup bag. I love the variety of beauty items in my bag. I thought I was only getting lip products but was happily surprised when I saw the eyeliner, it is a staple in my makeup routine. I can’t wait to see what comes in my August bag!
