If you’ve read our blog for any extended period of time you’ll know that we are always on the search for products that help to relieve our irritated skin (we suffer from Rosacea) and help to provide adequate hydration as our skin is also very dry. ZenMed sent us over a few of the products from their Rosacea / Dry Skin range to review for you guys and we have been testing them out for the past few weeks! ZenMed creates different skincare products that target different skin conditions like Rosacea, Acne, scars and as well as anti-aging.
Skincare Review
The first product that we received is the AVT Cream
This tube of cream has 2.5 ounces of product and costs $34.95 on the ZenMed site and is formulated to treat Rosacea as well as Acne prone skin. Because these conditions break down and dry out the skin a nourishing cream like this helps to bring back suppleness as well as lend it a visibly smoother and firmer appearance
Our experience with this cream has been amazing. It’s lightweight with no smell whatsoever. Ideal for an everyday moisturizer and a great last step in your skincare routine. The formulation provides free radical fighting vitamin C with reestorative vitamin A and E. The directions tell you to apply this moisturizer to the face in circular motions avoiding the eyes. It’s important to note that this moisturizer (as with all the ZenMed products) is non pore blocking, vegetarian, contains no artificial colors or fragrances or parabens. It also isn’t tested on animals

The next item provided to us by ZenMed is their B5 Hyaluronic Plumping Serum
This bottle contains 1 ounce of serum and retails for $40 on the ZenMed site. This product visibly tightens and plumps the skin as well as hydrates and heals. The effects of this serum are said to last up to 24 hours. This serum helps replace some of the vitality that is lost when you suffer from Rosacea as well as Adult Acne. Both of which change collagen breakdown as well as cell turnover and make skin appear to have less tone and elasticity.
The serum itself is thin and clear. The instructions tell us to apply this after cleanser (but before moisturization) on the face and neck. You can use this up to twice a day. Our thoughts on this are so positive. There are many serums out there but this one is SPECIAL. You can feel this product tightening your skin and while the immediate visible effects might not be apparent to the people around you, they will be to you!

The final item we were sent by ZenMed and our absolute favorite is the Gentle Cleansing Cream
This bottle has a pump (which we really like) and contains 6 ounces of product. This retails for $22 on the ZenMed site. You also have the ability to buy bundles of the products that they suggest you use together. This formulation is vegetarian and will not strip your acid mantle.
What we love most about this cream is that the time our face is the reddest is directly after washing. We stopped using hot water (and even tepid water) a long time ago but to no avail. This cleanser WORKS, while our skin is still very slightly red after washing the redness has been diminished by about 85%! This product has no smell and is creamy and moisturizing. We are all about this stuff and will probably never go without it again! The directions are simply to apply to face with fingertips, massage in and rinse off avoiding the eyes. You can use this up to twice daily.

So in summary
We really enjoyed all the products that ZenMed sent for us. There wasn’t one we wouldn’t repurchase, we do feel like there’s something special about their formulations and that they really did a good job of putting together a product that works to combat redness (and not just cover it up)!
