Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in little touch of magick

Our first glimpse inside the Little Touch of Magick Box for July. The theme is, “Unicorns” and the story is called, “The Secret”.

Everything that we received in July’s Box. This is an absolutely fabulous assortment and there are a couple of items we are totally in love with!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box inserts are both our story and a little card that lists each of the items that we received along with their retail values.

Our item listing.

This month’s story. It’s about a cruel king who has an arranged marriage. His queen loves unicorns so the king hides the fact that he is having one killed for it’s horn. Unicorn horns allow you to detect poisoning in your food and this king has made himself quite a few enemies. The story has a crazy twist… and all we’ll say is, “Long Live the Queen.”

Tea Forte Single Serve Packets & Beghin Say La Perruche Sugar Cubes

$6

We love Tea Forte teas! We received 2 packets, one in Cherry Cosmo and the other is Noir Black Cherry… the sugar cubes are a cute addition because they play a unique role in this month’s story.

Unicorn Tapestry Tote Bag

$45

Isn’t this the coolest!? We always talk about how we use these bags for the library… this one is big enough that we could bring the entire library home. The intricate woven design gives this tote undisputed character and charm. We’ve never gotten a bag like this before!

The inside is super spacious and also has a zippered pocket.

Warm Vanilla Sugar Cube Sugar Scrub

$8

One of our own bath time favorites! This handcrafted bath scrub from Le Noir Bazaar contains just 5 ingredients in addition to fragrance and color. We love the little package and can’t wait to test these out!

Selenite Carved Spiral Unicorn Horn

$28

Our absolute favorite item included in this box is this Selenite Unicorn Horn. The queen in our story’s family owned a Selenite mine, so while this is a gorgeous addition and looks like a horn.. it’s also related to the story. We love this because it’s just so fabulous!

We added this to our special window sill where we put all of our reflective crystals so we can enjoy it’s beauty everyday! This stone helps you sleep and never needs to be recharged. You can also place Selenite on your third eye chakra to increase telepathic abilities.

Unicorn Compact & Keychain

Another adorably whimsical item that was included in this box is this key chain. It has a unicorn likeness on it and opens up to reveal a compact.

We have a little reward bin for the kids when they are well behaved and we think this would be a really great addition!

You are a Unicorn Note Card

$4

So far each of our boxes has come with a blank note card. This makes it easy to keep up with any correspondence and pen pals! This particular note card is so pretty and has a fun folk art feel to it. It says, “You are a Unicorn” so you’ll just have to give it to someone special (or yourself)!

Spoiled Rotten Lilith Jewelry Design Unicorn Horn Earrings

$21

Handmade on stainless steel wires, these gorgeous long dangling earrings have unicorn horns on them! We love the color of the crystal (there were both blue and green varieties included in boxes).

Spoiled Rotten Lilith Jewelry Design Selenite Crown Necklace

$35

Another handmade items from Spoiled Rotten Lilith this necklace has both Selenite and crystal beads in addition to a crown pendant.. like we said… long live the queen.

Not only is this necklace beautiful but it’s also interesting and intricate and we really appreciate that.

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Little Touch of Magick Box is a beautiful way to get handmade lifestyle items each month in a unique and fun way. We love the ever changing themes and think this is such a unique box! The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is amazing. We are loving the handmade items but we also so love the unicorn horn! Curation is so fantastic. They do such an incredible job of putting these assortments together. Each item really is connected to the story!

As far as box economy the Little Touch of Magick Box costs $45.99 and for that we received $165 in products which is over triple the price of the box and an absolutely amazing deal!
