Defy & Inspire is a coordinating nail polish and lipstick line that is sold exclusively at Target. They recently sent us over a few of their matching colors to try out and share with you guys! We love that this company is helping to simplify getting ready and they’re mission is to empower women… which can’t we all get behind that?

Defy & Inspire Duo in Checkmate

The lipstick in this set is a light beige that has a shiny finish and really nourishes lipstick. A great traditional lipstick for the old school lip loving gals. The polish is a beautiful duo-toned metallic that is a little more sheer than we anticipated. We actually think this would make an excellent topcoat to a nice taupe color!
Defy & Inspire Duo in Sky’s the Limit

Next up is the Duo “Sky’s the Limit” another bright metallic nail shade and a beautiful dewy purple pink color for the lips. This color goes on the nail so beautifully applying lots of shimmer and leaving a high gloss shine behind!
Defy & Inspire Duo in Laugh a Latte

Finally in the items that we received (and our absolute favorite in the bunch) is this Laugh a Latte color. This is a beautiful pinky nude shade that goes with almost anything and you can dress up and dress down. We did have to apply several coats to get this shade to look like it did in the bottle but found that this dried so fast it didn’t matter!
Here is the nail look with Laugh a Latte. As you can see the colors all have a high gloss shine as do the lipsticks. This was definitely our favorite shade and when applied with a base and top coat this manicure stayed put for 5 days which is a really long time for us!
