Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the My Imagination Mail Box for May. As always Oliver’s letter is right on top.
Everything that we received in our May Imagination Mail Box. This box celebrates Mother’s Day from one of our favorite mothers… Mother Nature! Oliver’s letter was addressed to him from Mother Nature, he really liked that. We also got a sneak peek for next month… think… Father Time!
So what is all this stuff?

Here is our insert to help the grown up helper. We really like these – they outline what each of the included item helps focus on as far as development and how to get the most out of each item.
Our final inserts are our fun calendar and some cool science experiments for May!
Shimmer Snake
If you watched the unboxing you know that Oliver wanted a pet snake so bad.. you would have thought it was Christmas when he received this! At about 2 feet long, this giant snake is both colorful as well as tactile! And he hasn’t asked about a pet snake since!

Duck Squish
What kid isn’t into squishies right now? This yellow duck squishie is not only super trendy but it’s also peach scented. Since there were 2 squishies included in this month’s box Oliver let his little sister have this one.
Bag
This will be used with our felt stickers.
Octopus Squishie
This was the box favorite for the kids! They all love this cool squishie.
Look at those micro beads inside! We made them promise not to cut this open or they’d be in big trouble!
Ruckus Game
And our own favorite item from this box, a Ruckus Junior Edition Game. The object of this game is to collect pairs and steal them from the other players. This game is perfect for children 4+ so it’s a great way to spend time with Oliver! We really enjoy playing board games as a family too.
Hedgehog Pin
Each Imagination Mail Box comes with a pin, this month we received an adorable hedgehog!
Felt Stickers
We received an assortment of felt stickers of different nature animals like; butterflies, frogs and lizards.
Here is Oliver decorating the bag. He wanted the butterflies to circle the “dragon”. It was actually a lizard.
Note Cards
These 5 fun colored note cards have envelopes to go with them so that your child can create letters and notes and give them to whoever they’d like. Great way to get kids to want to write.
Table Topics
We also received a fun set of table discussion cards. Our kids really love to incorporate these into our evening dinner discussions. These are a lot like the game you can buy at the store but the questions are unique to each box.
Ladybug Craft
This fun ladybug craft helps kids to learn counting! The stick on ladybugs have the numbers one through ten on them to help your child both visualize the number symbol and the number grouping. This is a really cool idea!
Daffodil Craft
Our daffodil craft is a fun and colorful way to get children using their hands. This is a bit like paper mache in that we’ll be coating our yellow tissue paper in white glue. We can’t wait to make this!
We Love Our Mom Berenstein Bears
There’s one thing that kids can never have too many of, and that’s books. This “We Love Our Mom” book brings back some of our own favorite childhood characters… the Berenstein Bears.
The kids enjoyed this and it was the perfect inclusion for Mother’s Day!
Crayola Color Puzzle
Included in this fun pack were 2 puzzles (a monkey and a giraffe) that you can color with the 3 included markers. There are also sticker eyes and gems to really make your project special!
Here’s a look at Oliver’s monkey puzzle. That poor monkey wound up with eyes on his mouth!
Ty Wood Kit
We also received 2 of these Ty Wood Kits. Each one came with a set of eyes and a small set of markers so kids can color them in however they’d like!
This was a great opportunity to get Oliver practicing holding his pencil since he’ll be starting kinder in the Fall!
He really enjoyed this craft!
Markers
This 12 piece marker set came in handy for our wood kits! We love how many markers were included and so did the kiddos!
Stickers
Stickers are one of our absolute favorite ways to keep the kids occupied without a ton of prep or planning. We give them each a sheet of stickers and a blank piece of paper and let them use their imaginations!
These colorful stickers have both jungle animals as well as common animals. The kids thought these were lots of fun!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The My Imagination Mail Box is a wonderful for parents to share quality time with their children while sneaking in important learning opportunities. The presentation is perfect. Everything arrives perfectly and is well packaged. The quality is awesome. We love that they include well known brands that make well thought out products that help teach children. Curation is phenomenal once again. This assortment includes a little bit of everything – there are colorful toys to get kids interested and there are also enough activities to last you through the whole month!
