My first glimpse inside the box from Excavating Adventures.

My first glimpse inside the box from Excavating Adventures. The theme for this box is Gemstone Journey

So what is all this stuff?

Every box from Excavating Adventures includes a sticker to show which project you’ve completed.

We also get a card to put the stickers on once you’ve completed the project.

Here’s Viv after we completed this month’s project.

Every box from Excavating Adventures will include a binder sheet that can be used to hold the collectors cards that are included in each box.

This is our gemstone identification card that shows us each of the gems we will find in our kit.

Here is this month’s collection of collectors cards.

The reverse of each card has info about each of the different gemstones.

And of course here is our actual container with our excavation for the month. They use sand for this one.

We also receive a little envelope with tools. There’s wet nap, a magnifying glass, a dowel and a brush.

Okay so now what?

Now we excavate! I let the kids pass it around betwixt each other.

We just tap, tap tap with our dowel and then brush, brush, brush the sand away!

The kids had a lot of fun doing this!

And they loved identifying the different gemstones.

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me in great condition in my box.

Quality: This was lots of fun and I really enjoy the information that was included in the collector’s cards.

Curation: This was a really nice box and the items that were included fit the theme and the purpose perfectly.
