sips by magic tea box review

Sips by is a monthly tea subscription box. They also have an online shop where they sell one time tea boxes curated with a specific sentiment or holiday in mind. The box I’m reviewing today is the Magic Tea Box, curated for Halloween this box includes 4 fun teas and can be purchased in their shop for $15. NAT received this package at no cost for review purposes.

My first glimpse inside the Sips by Magic Tea Box.

Everything that came in my Magic Tea Box from Sips by. This is such a cool assortment!

So what is all this stuff?

My box insert – love the art

The reverse tells us a little bit about the inspiration for this box.

Every box from Sips by comes with biodegradable tea bags for the loose leaf tea that you’ll receive.

The first tea in this box is from Chariteas – a new to me brand. This is Olive and Dingo’s Color Changing Tea. This herbal tea includes peach, mango and coconut and of course changes color which sounds like lots of fun. This is a loose leaf tea and includes 10 grams.

The next tea is another new to me brand – Happy Turtle Tea’s Night in the Glittering Caves. This tea features black tea, natural cream flavor, bourbon pecans, bourbon sugar, cinnamon, crystallized ginger and edible silver beverage glitter. This sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun and as the package says it’s inspired from Lord of the Rings. This is also loose leaf tea.

Then we have Witches Brew a blend from Witchwood Teahouse. This looks like it’s going to be amazing and includes a mix of black tea, cinnamon, star anise, clove, nutmeg, mugwort and rosemary.

I am in love with this wax seal and am really digging their packaging.

I’m realizing now that we are at the final tea that each tea in this box are loose leaf. This final tea is from Thesaurus Tea (very clever as their logo is a T-Rex) and is titled Mana Match Potion another clever thing!

This tea includes just luxury grade green tea, blue pea butterfly flower petals and natural flavors. This sounds like it’s going to magical!

So in summary

Presentation: Each of the teas in this box arrived to me in perfect condition and I love the art on the insert

Quality: I am really loving the assortment of this box. Each tea adds a little something special to the box and I can’t wait to try these out!

Curation: This “Magic Tea” Box is a great way to really get some interesting effects in an otherwise ordinary thing! Love it!
