Each Mommy Mailbox comes with an information card telling you about each of the products inside your box.

The theme for May’s box is Honor and this month’s featured blogger is Lizzie Haro. Lizzie is a mama and popular on Instagram, YouTube and has her own blog filled with great mommy tips. May’s Mommy Mailbox is filled with all kinds of treats to make Mama feel special and appreciated.

The Magic of Motherhood by Ashlee Gadd

A book all about celebrating life as a mother – the good stuff, the bad stuff and everything in between.

This is the first item that I have seen in a Mommy Mailbox that is specifically for Moms and it is the perfect item to celebrate Moms on Mother’s Day.

Flutter Mascara – Manna Kadar Cosmetics

A mascara with an intense curling lash effect. It has a cutting edge technology brush tip to create luxurious lashes.

Mascara is an essential in my daily routine! So I was thrilled to see it in this month’s box.  I have tried many other Manna Kadar products in other subscription boxes, but never their mascara. I cannot wait to see what this cutting edge brush technology is all about.

Paper Straw – Papermart

Cute, striped, purple paper straws.

My daughters both have birthday parties coming up, these are sure to be a hit with all the kids.

Chocolates – Lake Champlain Chocolates

Fresh, all natural chocolate squares in milk chocolate and hazelnut praline dark chocolate.

Mmm…chocolate! I love getting sweets in my box. They did not last long but were so delicious and creamy.

Chloe Ring – Kendra Phillip

A comfortable, cool and sleek ring that adjusts for different sized fingers.

Save 30% off at Kendra Phillip with coupon code MOMMYMAILBOX

This ring is so pretty. I love the subtle pattern and double band look. It is perfect for my everyday wear.

Verdict: Overall, I think I would give this month’s Mommy Mailbox a 7/10.  This is the first Mommy Mailbox that I have seen that actually has a product specifically for Moms. I don’t actually mind as this is the month for Mother’s Day so it is suiting that Moms get a little something extra special; however, not everyone may be keen on reading or have the time given they have kids 😉 .  The other major items (ring and mascara) were great for anyone and doubled as a great mother’s day gift.  The chocolates and straws added to a great Mother’s day afternoon on the patio!

Flat Notes Stationary – Graphique de France

An adorably packaged set of ‘thank you’ note cards and envelopes.

This is a lovely surprise this month as I love stationary and it is something completely different inside my Mommy Mailbox.

Skin Toner – Cultivar Organic Holistic Skincare

An organic skin toner cleanser, that helps balance sebum production for both too oily and too dry skin types. It helps prime skin for moisturizers and make-up, removes make-up, soothes over-stressed skin and helps minimize redness.

I cannot wait to try this facial cleanser. The packaging looks a little drab, but I think it will be a great product!

Hydrating Lip Balm – Wellsmith

A hydrating lip balm made without the use of dangerous ingredients you often find in other lip balms.

I use lip balm all the time, so when I saw this inside my box I was thrilled! I cannot get enough chap-stick and I love trying new ones.

Energy Breath Mints – Viter Energy

A breath mint packed with B-Vitamin Complex and caffeine that will also keep your breath fresh.

An interesting product I have not heard about energy boosting breath mints, I cannot wait to try it. Now I can have the caffeine boost without the calories in my specialty coffees. Good thing I read this description before I let my kids try these…:)

Enamel Pin Card – Fred & Far

Fred & Far have a mission to spread love to women everywhere. Their jewelry is a reminder to love yourself first. The future is bright and so are you.

All of their pins have an amazing powerful message. Not to mention that they are super cute and I love the rose gold colour!

Verdict: The April Mommy Mailbox was filled with some amazing different items than I have never seen inside my past boxes. Stationary is so hot right now, I was so excited to get this and it looks so cute! I cannot wait to spread my love for these cards by sending thank you notes to everyone, haha! The other unique item inside my box was energy breath mints, this is something completely new to me, I never even knew this type of product existed, but it may soon become my new go to calorie-wise caffeine boost. Thanks for another amazing Mommy Mailbox, I was thrilled with some completely new items this month as well as some great beauty favorites!

A must have for your makeup bag. This eyeshadow palette provides you with all the advantages of loose shadow without the mess. An amazing selection of 12 different shades. I am super excited to try out this palette, it is beautiful!

I must confess I did see a sneak peek of this eye shadow on the Mommy Mailbox facebook page and I fell in love! This has to be the best product I have ever got in a subscription box… way to go Mommy Mailbox! 🙂

Verdict: There is no hiding it, this Mommy Mailbox has one of the best products inside ever! The Bellapierre Eye Shadow Palette is stunning and worth more than the price of the whole box. Not to mention the other fantastic products also in this box, like forty bags of Happy tea, that sure makes me happy! I enjoy the great variety of items from month to month. I love opening up my Mommy Mailbox and being greeted with the wonderful surprises inside. Each box has a good variety of consumable and non-consumable items (as a Mommy and blogger I tend to favor consumable goods otherwise I would have way to much stuff in my house). Mommy Mailbox is the perfect way to get to try out some awesome high-end and small businesses products, who knows you may find a new favorite goodie!

Each Mommy Mailbox comes with an information card telling you about each of the products inside your box.

The theme for February’s box is Romance. It has an extra special touch, as everything was handpicked by Elena Sanchez, an artist and photographer.

Mini Sweet Heart Cupcake Bath Bomb – Feeling Smitten  $5.50

Each cupcake has a epsom salt base that fizzes and softens the bath water to leave your skin moisturized and a sugar scrub icing topper which dissolves at a slower pace and is great as a pedi-scrub. This cupcake bath bomb is super cute, my only question is… is it okay to have sugar in my bath water?

Whole Body Balm – Jersey Shore Cosmetics  $45.00

An organic all over body balm. This product is like a miracle balm. It is great for face, lips, hands, eyes, elbows, feet and any other area you need nourished. It can also smooth hair flyaways, condition cuticles and removes makeup smudges. It does everything! I have previously received this in another beauty box and I love it!!! So happy to have more. 🙂

Vegan Lip & Cheek Rouge in Baccara Rose – Jersey Shore Cosmetics $30.00

Made with all natural pigments, natural and organic oils, extracts, minerals and flowers. This rouge is so richly pigmented that a little goes a long way.

Choco Dipped Graham Cookies – Crave Artisan Chocolate  $4.00

A choco dipped graham cookie with a gorgeous pink damask design. It was quite small for me as a snack lover, but I did enjoy it!

Brass Locket Picture Frame – Isaac Jacobs International ($?)

A small, vintage looking locket style picture frame that would hold a wallet sized photo. To be honest, this is not personally my taste. It is quite small and I just don’t know what I would do with it or where it could go. I would much rather have had another home decor item or jewelry.

Verdict: I look forward to my Mommy Mailbox each month! It is such a wonderful mix of beauty, bath, treats and decor. The value inside this month’s box was amazing, even without knowing the cost of the picture frame. For me personally, there were some amazing beauty products from Jersey Shore Cosmetics, which I just cannot get enough of. The other products were fun to have and try out but nothing I would purchase again. This is all the fun of subscription boxes!

$11.50

An intensive overall skin care product that naturally soothes and heals dry, cracked feet, hands and lips. It contains coconut, jojoba, plantain, burdock, and comfrey. I immediately had to try this out, these winters up here in Canada have made my hands and feet extremely dry. My initial impression is that it is a little greasy on my hands, but after a few minutes they are definitely not as dry, this may be my new favorite intensive skin repair product.

Sugar Dunk – MiniDunk Sampler

$12.50

A great sample package of all natural body scrubs, 2 salt scrubs and 2 sugar scrubs. These scrubs are perfect for relaxation, awakening, rejuvenating and creating smooth skin. I have recently received this sample pack in my Mommy Mailbox and I am in love!!!

$15.00

An anti-aging lip conditioner with mongongo oil which hydrates, regenerates, and restructures. As well, it protects from UV and environmental pollutants. I use lip chap all the time and I go through it like crazy, so I am excited to add this as part of my daily routine.

Verdict: Each month Terra Bella Box spoils me with these amazing pampering beauty products. Every item is something very useful and often brand names that I have never heard of before. I have got some of the same brands in past subscription boxes, but I always get to try out different product lines from that company. It is so much fun getting to try out these, often higher end products, that I never would never have known about or sampled without my Terra Bella Box. This month the lip conditioner and skin therapie were my favorite items that I continue to use daily. I love monthly beauty subscription boxes, they are a fun treat to myself each month!
