Verdict: It has been years since I’ve received a TOPBOX. This month I decided to try it out again. I think the value of this box was definitely there. It only cost me $15 and I got over $50 in beauty products. Three of the products were full-sized and only one sample sized product. I was disappointed that the sample product I got, Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional, is the product I was most looking forward to trying and a full-sized version would have made this box over the top, IMO. Overall, this is a popular, affordable beauty box and allows you to try out a variety of beauty and skincare items each month for only $15!

Lotfi has been the head wood cutter with Natural Olivewood for the past 4 years. He takes the raw tree branches and gives them their first shape. Larger branches are made into cutting boards. Smaller branches are used to make bowls, dishes, etc. Lofti’s great eye for design, combined with his superior woodworking skills allow him to determine what final shape each branch will produce and execute the shape with precision.

Every product has a story…
Azhar Begh, aka Bunty, is a talented paper crafter who works for Matr Boomie. He has been learning the art of paper craft for nearly half his life which is reflected in the beautiful work her produces and the passion with which he approaches his projects. He loves learning in general, whether about paper crafts or his fellow coworkers, who came from different cultural and religious backgrounds than himself. They have become like an extended family.
All of the paper in these products created by Azhar are made by hand. Fist they recycle cotton textile scraps collected as waste from the local textile industry. These scraps are then turned into pulp and converted to paper through a process passed down for hundreds of years. This ancient process is quite special and unique and very important to preserve. Once the paper is made, it can be screen printed, which is also done by hand. The whole process requires a great deal of skill and time to learn. Many artisans like Azhar have become so passionate about the art of paper craft and preserving this beautiful tradition.
