Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside the Cocktails By Spence Box

Everything that we received in our cocktails by Spence Box. Category favorite right here guys. This is hands down the best alcohol box we’ve gotten thus far!

So what is all this stuff?

A letter that describes the Cocktails by Spence Club

Also – we received a recipe card and a sheet that directed us to an instructional video.

Cocktail Shaker

We have shakers… but not a legit 2 cup shaker like this one. I’m sorry… you came here for Not a Tree Reviews but James Bond done TOOK OVER

Use them to pour, shake and stir … all while being extremely swanky!

Lemon Squeezer

Who couldn’t use a little citrus in their life? For our recipe this month, “The Sailors Handshake” we’ll need to juice lime… this will become incredibly handy

We didn’t have one of these (and we have tons of gadgets) so this will be extremely useful in the future!

Limes

Not only does this recipe call for lime juice .. but also lime wheels. So of course we received plenty of limes in our box to work with!

Mango Syrup

Our mixing ingredient is this cocktail is Mango Syrup. Just 3 ingredients; Mango Puree, Pure Cane Sugar and Filtered Water are used to create this delicious additive. This is a 4 ounce bottle which ensure we’ll have enough to go around!

Jigger

1 ounce on one side and 2 ounces on the other! We are so pumped to have a real one of these bad boys! Legit barware to add to our collection!

Strainer

Strain, serve and pour with this barware essential (even though we didn’t have one before this)! The tight coil allows for great mixing and this strainer can fit both small and large mixing glasses

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Cocktails by Spence Box is a great way to increase your collection and bar skills in general. We are really impressed with the amount of tools they sent… super nice! The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic. High quality mixing ingredients and wonderful items to mix them.. can’t ask for much more than that! And curation. Well yeah they kicked butt in that department. We are loving this box and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

This is our ornament from Joy to the World Collectibles for the month. It’s exclusive to this box and is absolutely awesome! We kind of want to buy one of these for each of our girlfriends… because boy do we LOVE us some coffee!

The gold and black accents make this really stand out. We love the attention to detail

One thing this box didn’t forget to add was tasty snacks! Our first are these cappuccino coated pecans. Not only are they flavored with coffee but they also taste great while you are drinking your coffee

In addition to the chai flavored bark that we received Sensational Sweets also carries 16 additional flavors.

$6

This soap is made with Espresso Coffee grounds and smells absolutely amazing (it’s our box favorite for this month). The bars from Good Earth are handcrafted and made with all natural ingredients that create a simple yet effective bar of soap.

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Glitter Crunch Box is a wonderful mix of items and perfect for Christmas enthusiasts and collectors alike. The presentation is great, everything is package carefully and arrives perfectly. We would expect as much from a Christmas Ornament company. The quality is FANTASTIC. We knew their ornaments were gorgeous and top of the line but were surprised to see so many handmade items from small vendors included as well. Curation is terrific. This mix of items is pleasing to the eye but also really hones in on the coffee theme and sticks to it! Fantastic month from Glitter Crunch Box

Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside the Parabo Box for April

Everything that came in our April, “Good Morning” themed box. This is an aesthetically pleasing mix right down to the box! It has a quote on it, “Today is a great day to have a great day” and just couldn’t make us feel any happier!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert

The reverse tells us not only what we received but how to go about using these goodies!

Plastic Letters

These were the first thing we saw when we opened the box. We had a good idea of what they could be for… but won’t give it away to you guys just yet. There were four sheets of them in total and this cute Parabo Bag that has “Spell it Out” stamped on it.

Mug

This is a “Good Morning” themed box after all, and what good is any morning without some tasty coffee! This green mug perfectly matches the color of the box … which is very satisfactory!

We have to also say that we love how this mug is rimmed in brown.. looks kind of vintage!

Gratitude Journal

This slim hardbound notebook will ease you into your day with positive thoughts.

We are NOT grateful for that mani … sheesh

This first page explains how best to use your gratitude journal

And each day all you have to do is write down the date and three things in your life that you are grateful for. What a great reminder of the good things in our life!

Custom Print

We chose our own print – because our Instagram isn’t quite as personal as most people’s. This is Oliver in the cockpit of a plane… he was really happy when he got to do this! We love how they added in a little sun… still keeping with the good morning theme!

Letterboard

Now it’s all coming together right? This letterboard is made so you can easily insert the plastic letters to create fun sayings. This is one that we came up with on the fly and we also added in our picture. We are super jazzed that we finally have one of these letterboards… we’ve been dying to get one for a while!

Gold Pushpins

These were to use on our letterboard (but stick them in between the felt pieces and not into the actual felt)

Inspiration

In case maybe you couldn’t come up with anything for your letterboard, Parabo Box didn’t want to leave you hanging

They included this card of great quotes to use. Some are serious and some are funny but all are worthy!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Parabo Box is a wonderful subscription that not only gives you visual trinkets from your life but also adds in an aesthically pleasing reminder that the world we live in is beautiful and full of greatness. We haven’t been this happy with a box in a while and can’t sing it’s praises enough. The presentation is phenomenal. Everything is package artfully and arrives perfectly. The quality is amazing. We are loving the stamped bag for our plastic letters and how adorable our custom print is. And curation is perfect. Everything looks great together and the theme is cohesive yet everything is useful and applicable to everyday life!

Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside the April Paletteful Pack. This month’s box was a collaboration with the Dear Jack Foundation. An organization that helps children and young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer

Here’s everything that we received in our April Paletteful Pack. There were 7 items in total, a great mix that focused on colored pencil sketches.

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert along with some stickers we received in the box. The insert lists each of the items that we received.

The reverse tells us about the Dear Jack Foundation

Finesse Colored Pencil Blender

This solvent based pen mixes with colored pencils to create beautiful water-colored effects. This is entirely clear and has both a brush tip as well as a bullet tip. We’ve never heard of or used anything like this before!

Bee Paper Creative Paper Pack

There were 15 sheets of these 6×9 inch heavyweight drawing sheets included. You can use this paper with colored pencils, pens, pastels, charcoals and drawing pencils.

Faber Castell PVC-Free Eraser

Because this eraser doesn’t contains any phthalate plasticizer you will achieve smear free and smudge free erasing. Having a high quality eraser is very important in creating beautiful sketches and colored pencil drawings.

Dual Metal Sharpener

We absolutely love these pencil sharpeners. Not only are they made with a high quality metal, but they have a superior blade. We love that it has two size options for both thinner and thicker pencils. Whenever we get one of these we hide it so the kids won’t lose it!

Faber Castell Eraser Pencils

This pencil allows you to erase fine point black lead, colored pencils and charcoal

This is another item that we hadn’t seen before and weren’t aware was out there! What a nifty pencil!

Collectible Paletteful / Dear Jack Foundation Sketch Pad

Our absolute favorite item in this box is this exclusive sketch book. Not only is the cover super cool but it’s also the perfect size. With over 100 pages you’ll be drawing in this for many days and weeks to come!

Goldfaber Colored Pencils from Faber-Castell

This tin of 12 colored pencils are newly available and offer brilliant colors that are easy to use with most any drawing technique

We love that they come in their own little tin to keep them together and we CANNOT wait to use them!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Paletteful Pack is a great way to get your monthly dose of color. Whether you are a novice or a master this subscription gives you tools that are both useful and exciting. The presentation is wonderful, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic. Each of these items is made high quality from well known and respected art brands. The curation is perfect. This box gave us everything we needed to create beautiful colored pencil drawings – somethings we had heard of and some we hadn’t. We think this mix was awesome!
