Tea Runners is a customizable tea subscription box delivering premium loose leaf teas directly to your door monthly, bi-monthly or tri-monthly. There are 4 boxes to choose from: All Black Tea Box, Herbal Tea Box, Pure Tea Box and the Original Tea Box. Each box will give you approximately 30-50 cups of delicious tea.
Boxes:
- All Black Tea Box – 4 black teas including pure black teas, flavored and blended teas.
- Herbal Tea Box – 4 all caffeine-free teas. May include rooibos blends, chamomiles, peppermints, honeybush to name a few.
- Pure Tea Box – 4 high-quality pure teas of different types, including black tea, yellow tea, white tea, oolongs and pu-erhs. No blended teas, no flavoured teas and no herbal teas.
- Tea Runners Original Box -4 high-quality teas of different types, including pure teas, flavoured teas, and herbal teas.
Frequency: Monthly, Bi-Monthly (every 2 months) or Tri-Monthly (every 3 months)

When my Tea Runners box arrived in the mail, I could immediately tell that this tea was about class and sophistication.
Just looking at the packaging of the Tea Runners box it has an old-world tea traders feel. My mind began to wonder what kinds of teas I would be tasting and how they related to this tea trader packaging.
I couldn’t wait to begin exploring all the tastes of the different teas.
Each Tea Runners box come with a monthly note card.
The May note card focused on promoting self-care while enjoying some tea during these unique time we are faced with right now. It also focused on Mother’s Day and announced that June is National Iced Tea Month… sounds delicious!
Each box allows you to enjoy approximately 30 to 50 cups of to quality teas.
The tasting and brewing instructions are clearly outlined right on the front of the package. I love that they take all the guess work out of making tea and I get the perfect cup of tea every time!
The May 2020 Tea Runners Original Box includes:
English Breakfast – black tea
Ceylon Orange Pekoe – black tea
Imperial Grade Green Snails – green tea
Mango Raspberry Rooibos – rooibos tea
Verdict: Tea Runners is a great subscription box for those who love tea and want to explore a world of flavors. The samples included were ample size to get a good feel for the teas, and have seconds/thirds of my favorites. The selection was also quite varied, and didn’t focus too much on only one style of tea – but this can be customized to your preference. For a complete beginner to tea, this box may be lacking some of the excitement and color of rival boxes. The note card inside was overly simplistic and at times read more like a newsletter rather than about the teas I was about to enjoy. The tea information was given on each bag with instructions, but only in black and white; this could be in keeping with the old-world tea trader theme of the box. For a more well versed tea drinker, this box will surely satisfy and open up a world of teas yet to be tried.
