Verdict: I was so thrilled to receive the very trendy Christmas gnomes as my first Annie’s Christmas Ornament Kit Club craft. I love everything gnomes and these make the perfect addition to my Christmas tree decor. Within the last year, I have discovered a love of felting while completing another Annie’s Kit Club, Halloween pumpkins. I am amazed at how adorable my creations turn out, even when I have very little experience with felting. In the end, everything seems to come together and look just perfect! These little guys were very time-consuming but well worth it! After completing three individual and unique gnomes, I still have enough felt to make probably another 3 gnomes or other projects. I love that I now have all the tools I need for future felting projects. Even our cats love the tightly felted balls so much that, at least on one occasion, have been known to take the gnome off the tree to have a play!

Annie’s – Farmhouse Style Kit Club “Macramé Coasters” Review

Inside each Farmhouse Style Kit Club, you will get all the materials you need to produce inviting home designs with a mixture of relaxing, traditional, and contemporary accents, and easy-to-follow instructions inside each pamphlet.

 

Verdict: I am so in love with these macramé coasters! They are so cute and the perfect colours (with the exception of the blue, it didn’t go with my decor, so I chose not to make it) and a fabulous addition to my living room decor. This is my first time trying macrame and honestly, I’m not sure it’s my thing. I absolutely love how the coasters have turned out but this particular craft wasn’t very relaxing and many times I just wanted to give up. I found it quite challenging and I just couldn’t get mine to look like the pictures, which was disappointing. I’m sure there are many people that thoroughly enjoy macramé, I’m just not one of them. That being said, all the other Annie’s Kit Clubs I have reviewed have been amazing for myself and my family.

Recommendation: I was so please to be able to try out the brand new Annie’s Farmhouse Style Kit Club. The box is the perfect blend of shabby chic with a mixture or modern decor to give your home that trendy style many of use are craving and at a price that is affordable! The talulah wreath was fun to make. Overall, it took a fair bit of time cutting out each felt leaf, hot gluing them all on the felt strips and attaching them to the wreath. I enjoyed that it wasn’t a quick and simple craft to make and there were some challenges and techniques that would only be appropriate for adults. It was a great value for the cost. I can imagine that it would be even more enjoyable if I had a bunch of girlfriends over and we could all craft together. If you love subscription boxes and crafting then you need to check out these Annie’s Kit Clubs.
