Verdict: I was so thrilled to receive the very trendy Christmas gnomes as my first Annie’s Christmas Ornament Kit Club craft. I love everything gnomes and these make the perfect addition to my Christmas tree decor. Within the last year, I have discovered a love of felting while completing another Annie’s Kit Club, Halloween pumpkins. I am amazed at how adorable my creations turn out, even when I have very little experience with felting. In the end, everything seems to come together and look just perfect! These little guys were very time-consuming but well worth it! After completing three individual and unique gnomes, I still have enough felt to make probably another 3 gnomes or other projects. I love that I now have all the tools I need for future felting projects. Even our cats love the tightly felted balls so much that, at least on one occasion, have been known to take the gnome off the tree to have a play!

Verdict: I am so in love with these macramé coasters! They are so cute and the perfect colours (with the exception of the blue, it didn’t go with my decor, so I chose not to make it) and a fabulous addition to my living room decor. This is my first time trying macrame and honestly, I’m not sure it’s my thing. I absolutely love how the coasters have turned out but this particular craft wasn’t very relaxing and many times I just wanted to give up. I found it quite challenging and I just couldn’t get mine to look like the pictures, which was disappointing. I’m sure there are many people that thoroughly enjoy macramé, I’m just not one of them. That being said, all the other Annie’s Kit Clubs I have reviewed have been amazing for myself and my family.

Verdict: It is no surprise that my whole family, yes, Dad included, loves Annie’s Kit Clubs! We have been so lucky to review a few other Annie’s Kit Clubs, including Annie’s Young Woodworker’s Kit Club. My eight-year-old daughter, who loves cars and building things has been asking me for a few weeks if she can build this kit. She knows that it’s for her and her dad to build together for some daddy-daughter time. With some help from Dad, she was off to the races hammering away to create her new gravel truck. The whole project didn’t take too long but they loved to break it up into multiple days; one day for building, one for painting, and one for decorating. The whole time my daughter was so focused, and determined to work on it every night after dinner until it was done! Then the hours since then she has been playing with it, make it a great value for the money, especially when your first one is 50% off!!! I can with certainty say that the Annie’s Young Woodworker’s Kit Club is my ballet-loving, daughter’s favorite subscription box!

Verdict: Annie’s Kit Clubs offer a wide variety of crafting subscription boxes mostly for women, teens, tweens, and kids, both boys and girls. With their constantly expanding collection, you are bound to find the perfect subscription box for the crafter in your life or even yourself. This is the third Creative Woman Kit-of-the-Month Club I have completed and I have been lucky enough to review many of the other Annie’s Kit Clubs, see them all here. Often with the Annie’s Kit Club boxes, there is one or two standard first boxes that you will receive for your first time subscribing. My first subscription was the Birdhouse Cottage, yours might be something different. Each of the kits is very straightforward with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions and each subscription is focused on a different crafting technique. The Crystal Suncatcher focused on wire crafting, which was new to me. Once you understood the process, it was simple and easy to duplicate for the following steps. The Crystal Suncatcher only took me a few hours to complete and it looks quite beautiful when the sunlight reflects on the crystals. Each box is a surprise and even if you order the same month as me you might get a different craft. That is the joy and wonder about subscription boxes, isn’t it?!

Recommendation: If you love crafting this may be the subscription for you! With sixteen different Annie’s Kit Clubs crafting subscription boxes to choose from everyone is bound to find one box they love. I choose the Creative Woman Kit-of-the-Month Club because I have seen many beautiful crafts that have been made in the past and I couldn’t wait to try any of them. Often with the Annie’s Kit Club boxes, there are one or two standard first boxes that you will receive for your first time subscribing. I got the Birdhouse Cottage as my first subscription. There were only a few steps from start to finish which were quite simple: sand, paint, and nail together. I chose to slightly customize the birdhouse by painting the roof trim black instead of white. Recommendations: Omg, I am so pleased with how these cards turned out! They look so fancy and were actually quite simple. I have dabbled in card-making years ago and actually have quite a bit of the supplies, but I just never get around to making them anymore. The Annie’s Cardmaker kit was easy enough for even beginners like my husband and kids to create beautiful cards. Yes, they did even create their own cards for my upcoming birthday this month. We all had so much fun layering while using the die cuts to make the cards pop and look so professional. The kit showed us how to create four unique cards, but with many extra die-cut pieces, card stock, and patterned paper everyone loved making their own creations as well and we still have many more pieces to use for future cards. I think this many have expanded my daughters’ minds with a whole new way to create cards for friends and family. Annie’s CardMarker Kit-of-the-Month Club has definitely helped step up our family’s birthday card game, no more store-bought cards from our family.
